Mark of Authenticity
Printing crisp foil text directly onto flexible insulation is incredibly difficult—it requires specialised machinery and gives rise to inconsistencies. So why go to those extra lengths? The difficulties in manufacturing also make the cables much harder to counterfeit which assures our clients that these are genuine Tellurium Q® high performing cables.

Statement II RCA Cable

Designed and built to match the performance of the Statement speaker cable we had to completely re-think the way we approached the RCA in terms of its micro-geometry, production process, isolation etc but the time and R&D spent on developing these cables has been worth it, having the same performance profile as the speaker cable. Or as one listener described their experience connecting the RCAs into a system with the Statement speaker cables:

“Just when I thought this is it, there’s no room for additional improvement, the RCAs were plugged in and…voila, another big step forward towards even more realistic reproduction.”

Performance Profile

Statement

Utterly transparent and exquisitely refined, Statement cables present music with absolute clarity, revealing every micro-detail, harmonic nuance, and subtle ambience without ever sounding forced. The tonal balance is flawless, completely uncoloured, yet profoundly musical, with instruments and voices placed with astonishing spatial accuracy. Dynamics are lifelike and effortlessly controlled, while the soundstage opens wide with natural depth and three-dimensional imaging. Despite its analytical precision, Statement remains organic and emotionally engaging, combining the ultimate in resolution, coherence, and realism with a fluid, analog-like musicality that makes every performance feel immediate and alive. This is Tellurium Q’s flagship range, crafted for systems where nothing less than perfection is acceptable.

Reviews and User Comments

“Switching the original Statements out and installing the Statement IIs I cued up the same record and returned to my listening seat. I had changed no amplifier settings and yet here was Harlan County Line sounding better than I have ever heard it. The delineation between the instruments was more pronounced but not at the expense of coherence, and then the voice was there. Actually it was here, in front of me, just a few feet away. I felt that I was in some Kentucky roadhouse, surrounded by miners and country people, all absolutely silent as Mr Alvin told us his stories. The Statement IIs were the only difference from the first spin of the record, so I had to attribute this added realism and authenticity to them. It had been fascinating to hear the differences in the TQ studio, but if anything it was even more noticeable and impressive in my own home system…

What Geoff Merrigan has achieved with this new version of Statement II is little short of remarkable. He took an already class-leading product and made it even better.”

If you have invested in the MKI version and are now feeling the urge to upgrade my advice would be to do it if you have the financial means…. only audition Statement IIs if you can afford them. You have been warned!”

Only an essence of the review using google translate:

“…excellent balance and excellent full frequency analysis…made me hear the singer’s rich emotions…pronunciation is as clear and real as it can be….and the two female singers who sang in the chorus in the left channel have a sense of “mouth shape” and positioning which is amazing! … If you are using a tube preamplifier, TQ Statement II is here to help you upgrade. A short cut, worth a try”

“There is much more harmonic or musical detail… much more harmonic richness, harmonic musical detail coming through the system with the Tellurium Q Statement cables [compared to Silver Diamond XLR]….which makes the system sound more relaxed and more organic…..but there is actually more clarity than the Silver Diamond [XLR] because there is more musical information.”

“Tellurium Q Statements are no usual cable affair and if I’ve called the Silver Diamonds an Emotional Tour de Force what are then the Tellurium Q Statements!? Well, they certainly transcend any typical labeling and this time I’m elevating them on the throne, that they clearly deserve. Their stand out, extraordinary performance can only be recognized with the 2018 Editor Choice Award!”

“It is even possible that this is the most absent-in-the-path speaker cable I have ever encountered.

The British interconnect introduces practically no modifications in terms of tonal balance or sound timbre, and its presence in the system is revealed only by such aspects as microdynamics, transparency, speed and – once again – a wonderful, three-dimensional, perfectly organized space in which each source is clearly defined, has sharp shapes and is, one might say, firmly anchored in its place. In my opinion, the neutrality and stereophony of the Tellurium Q flagships are beyond question.

The cables somehow magically interact with each other, enhancing each other’s best features and improving the sound quality much more efficiently than when we check them separately.

And this is what makes Statement II the perfect, dream, and destination cable for many audiophiles. This is a dream come true and soothes the senses for those who are looking only for the truth about music, and for whom all other high-end cables were “too bad” – bringing many benefits, at the same time, they interfered too much with the sound. In other words, the search is over, at least when it comes to cabling.

If you have a suitably advanced system and you have changed cables many times, each time gaining something and losing something else, and at some point you started to wonder how such a set would sound with cables that are not there, which are inaudible, completely transparent, the solution to this puzzle is it’s waiting right here.”

“But this highlights the great difference about Tellurium Q Statement II; when you put it up against other cables – including its predecessor – the other cables sound like they are imposing their own characteristics on the sound.

Tellurium Q Statement was a revelation prising open the sound of your music in a way you might not have thought possible before. And if you liked what Statement did, Statement II does it better.

The revealing quality of the cable doesn’t come with a harsh edge. It shows what your system does, but it doesn’t push you to change that system.

If you have Statement, should you buy Statement II. Normally, this is time for some fence sitting, but here it’s an emphatic ‘yes’!”

“There is still that sense of naturalness to the sound as with the Statement 1s, but even more so in some way…can something be “more natural”, I don’t know and perhaps my choice of words is not correct. Perhaps a better way of describing the sound is from a sensory/reactionary aspect and what I would say is that the Statement 2s allow you to fall into the musical performance more easily and more rapidly than with the 1s. There’s a sound at 1 minute 37 seconds on I’m Always Touched By Presence that was much more apparent with the 2s than it was with the 1s.

The handful of words I would use to describe the Statement 2 cables from Tellurium Q is more detailed than the originals but without that detail being pushed down your throat, but with the same speed and sense of rightness..”

“I never thought I would ever hear cables superior to the original Statement cables from Tellurium Q but hey, here they are, lying on my floor. The Statement IIs move onwards from the originals but they do so in a progressive manner. They don’t just tweak or nudge the sound quality on by a degree or two, the improvements are noteworthy enough to warrant that Mk.II label. The extra focus and clarity, the improved midrange insight, the enhanced bass power and more.

It’s as if the Statements offer a wider data path to allow more information to be transferred. It’s like most HiFi cabling is 32bit but the Statements are 64bit.”

“I can say without hesitation that this is one of the absolutely best sets of audio cables that I have had the opportunity to host.”

“Geoff’s cables should be placed in the category of top-high-end, because the sets that can compete with them can be counted on the fingers of one hand.

I can say without hesitation that this is one of the absolutely best sets of audio cables that I have had the opportunity to host. Tellurium Q Statement impresses with their amazing resolution, transparency and clarity of sound. They provide excellent coherence combining very low, powerful, well-differentiated and perfectly controlled bass, with a colourful, smooth, detailed midrange and a beautifully illuminated, precise, open treble.”

“These set a new standard that out performs all other cables we’ve heard.”
