Ultra Blue II Power Cable

Ultra Blue II looks pretty much exactly the same as the old Ultra Blue except for the “II” denoting the new generation cable. Plug in a burnt in Ultra Blue II after the old version and you will hear within seconds why we have upgraded this cable. The sound is fuller, more organic and better balanced in the whole range. The top end detail is still the same but everything else has risen to that performance level.

Performance Profile
Blue Family
Warm and forgiving for systems with a slight edge or for those who like a more smooth laid back presentation. Blue and Ultra Blue are especially good for AV and home cinema
Black Family
Smooth, fine detailed and great resolution while actually reducing apparent harshness. Music is presented as a coherent, organic whole, with a jaw-dropping sense of realism and naturalness.
Silver Family
Totally uncoloured, acting as a wide open channel sounding unforced, vivid and dynamic with phenomenal resolution, transparency and natural tonal colours. All this while sounding extremely analog and coherent, from the exceptional top end extension to bottom with finely detailed, separated bass notes.

“….I came to one inescapable conclusion. The Ultra Blue II just made everything sound better and not subtly either…This Ultra Blue II mains cable does indeed improve upon the original.”

“In its own price point, The Ultra Blue II mains cables are giant killers. I’ve heard more expensive mains cables which occupy that general price bracket which are very capable indeed, more expensive but don’t reach the same sonic heights.”

“a breezy presentation. Upper mids seemed to relax, taking their time to consider detail and tonal colour.”

“Today it was time for a new upgrade of the hifi system. Ended up buying Ultra Blue II power cable and Ultra Black II RCA. The biggest surprise was arguably the power cord. rarely have I heard such an improvement in the whole soundscape. Sure I heard it from Jan Olav when we switched to Statement cables in his system, but had not expected such an improvement by just switching the power cable, and not by Ultra Blue II alone. 😁 When I also get something that sounds like a new CD player when the Ultra Black II RCA is connected, yes then the evening will not be much better here in the living room”

“Today we visited StudioAV and showed them the new Tellurium Q Ultra Blue II mains cable. We did back to back comparisons between a freebie mains cable, the Original Ultra Blue and the new Ultra Blue II.

We all agreed that the new Ultra Blue II was a notable upgrade over the original (and of course far far superior to the freebie cable). There are notable improvements in sound staging, integration, air around and palpability of instruments, clarity, and the micro-dynamics like the initial strike of a piano key or pluck / strum of a string, in particular it also shows a lovely way of bringing out female vocals and making them hang in space realistically.”
